Nicki Minaj "Y U Mad" Makeup Inspiration

Hello dolls!!! The other day I came across the "Y U Mad" video that features Nicki Minaj, and needless to say I thought that Nicki looked EXTREMELY pretty in this vid....even when she wore the blonde Tunechi dreads with pink tips lol. As such I decided to try and mimmick the makeup look that she wore through out the video, which consisted of a pastel orange winged lid, heavy eye liner, mauve colored lips, extremely contoured face, and a light touch of blush.

Here is the look that we are going for:

A Wedding Affair

Hello dolls!!!! So I had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid in my Uncle's wedding saturday evening. I had a ball to say the least!! This wedding was absolutely gorgeous from the venue, to the wedding cake, everything turned out really nicely. The color scheme was platinum and eggplant; so I decided to do a purple makeup look with no blush and pinkish nude lips.

Here is the look we are going for:

Makeup Demonstration at John's Hopkins

Hello Dolls! Last Monday I was asked by a good friend of mine to do a makeup demonstration for an event that her Sorority sisters of Sigma Gamma Rho were hosting at John's Hopkins University. I accepted with some hesitation, as I had never done a makeup demonstration before. So you can imagine how NERVOUS I was lol. Nonetheless I believe that I did a good job at answering the attendee's questions, while simultaneously doing the makeup demonstration. The questions consisted of the type of makeup products/brushes I use, my foundation routine, my skin care regimen, tips on eyebrows, and a quick & easy face.

I did two looks on the model, one of my good girlfriends, one was a black smokey eye and the other was a look that I created using their sorority and yellow. Below is a picture of both looks:

Bronze Bombshell

Hello Dolls!!! As some of you may know, I am EXTREMELY addicted to makeup! Not so much to the point that I wear it everyday, but I do take it more seriously than the average female. As such I would like to start posting pictures of makeup that I have done on myself and others. Which is the purpose of this post today.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional makeup artist. The things that I will discuss in postings of this nature are things that I have learned from watching tutorials, from asking professional makeup artists, and from experimenting with makeup on myself.

Here is the look that I wore last Saturday to a Bachelorette party I attended.
