How I fill in my brows

Materials:
  • 2 angled brushes (I believe I purchased both of them from Rite Aid, they are by Eco Tools)
  • Concealer brush
  • An ashy brown matte eyeshadow (I used MAC's eyeshadow in Cross-Cultural, an alternative is the eyebrow kit sold at Walmart by Salon Perfect, or the eyebrow kit sold at Sally's Beauty Supply)
  • Dark Brown eyebrow pencil (I use Wet n Wild's ColorIcon brow pencil in Dark Brown. It is extremely inexpensive! I believe its only 95 cents!)
  • Concealer (I used MAC Select Cover-UP in NC45)
Bare with me lol this is my first tutorial, so I hope you were able to follow the steps in the video. If you have any questions or comments, let me know in the comment section below! Vote for me for Black Opal's 'True Beauty Model Search'

Vote @Li_Li_Bee for the @BlackOpalBeauty #TrueBeautyModelSearch

JWWWD Magazine is honored to support Li Li Bee in the "True BeautyModel" contest for Black Opal Beauty. It would mean the world to me if you dolls could vote for me. Winning this competition would mean being able to further my education by obtaining a master's degree, as well as being the face for a brand that I 100% support.  With your help, I know that I'll be able to accomplish this goal. Thank you all in advance for continuing to stay with my on my journey!

Below is my submission on what I believe true beauty is, as well as the link for you to vote for me ^.^

"Perseverance is true beauty to me.
It is why I am a 23 yr old, African American woman with a bachelor's degree working on obtaining a master's degree. Without perseverance I would still be a shy individual who was afraid of my own voice, and who felt like I would never be good enough.
But through hard work, sacrifice and commitment, I am where I am today. I persevered through everything that was meant to tear me down and came out on top. Now, my goals have no boundaries, and I embrace my inner voice. Perseverance taught me to believe in myself, what can be more beautiful than that?"

Thanks again lovebugs!!!!! (pray for me!)

How I made/applied my first wig with a lace closure

Hello dolls!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So this post is going to be on how I made my very first wig with a lace closure! WOOT WOOT! lol. If you follow me on any of my social medias you would have seen a preview of how the wig looked in the beginning stages.

This all began when I started thinking about my next hairstyle. I knew I wanted a sewin, but I did not want to sit for long periods of time to do it. I looked on YouTube and saw that a lot of youtubers were making U-part wigs. I wanted to try my hand at making one, so I went to the beauty supply store to pick up some materials and I saw a Remy lace closure. I always wanted to try a lace closure, so I thought instead of making a U-part wig I could add the lace closure so that I would not have to leave a lot of my hair out.

Whenever I do my sewin it literally takes me forever and a day lol, plus my leave out gets slightly damaged from flat-ironing it so much (I don't like a HAIR out of place!). I find that with this wig, I only spend 30 minutes to sew it down around the perimeter of my head, it lays flatter than my sewins, and I don't leave as much of my hair out.

BH Cosmetics: 10 pcs Deluxe Brush Set (Red)

Hello dolls!!! This post is going to be a review of my BH Cosmetics brush set I purchased earlier this year. I was trying to build my makeup kit and needed more brushes that looked professional, were of great quality, and inexpensive. While researching different brands I found this brush set on BH Cosmetic's website. Me being me, I youtubed this set to see if it received  positive or negative reviews. At the time I could not find many videos on this brush set; however, the ones I did find gave this brush set a positive review. So I decided to take a chance and try this set for myself.

Hello dolls!!!! First things first, my laptop has been acting a donkey and I haven't been able to do ANYTHING! GGRRR!!! It's all good, I'll be getting her fixed soon ^.^ On to the post!

If you have been following me on twitter, facebook, or Instagram you would have seen the picture below of the different stages I take to highlight/contour my face. In this post I will be explaining the process in more detail, as well as the products that I use.

DISCLAIMER: I use the word BLEND like a million times in this post lol.....for good reason though because it is the key to highlighting/contouring.
